And Then There's A Rose

The ALL NEW studio album from Stage Dive.  After 2 years of recording alongside working on the film "Call to Fly," the CD is finally
here with 11 brand new tracks featuring Jade on vocals, Falcon on guitar, Krystal on bass and Kane on drums.  This album puts out
more power and sound than any previous SD album, and was recorded with extreme quality of utmost importance.

"And Then There's A Rose" brings a balance of heavy riffs with beautiful melodies and commercial arrangements.
It also introduces the band's drive to explore new sounds, both vocally and musically.

The sound quality and arrangement are more polished. The heaviness of the guitars are enhanced with Jade's powerful
vocal abilities.  The album also introduces Kane's heavy drumming patterns along with Krystal's driving bass rhythms.  Falcon also
sings lead for the first time on the track titled "To Be With You" (a love song he wrote to his wife) and plays keyboards on "Dreaming."

The album begins with the commercial track "Call to Fly" (from the 2005 movie).  This song is very catchy and heavy at the same time.
"Jaded" then sets an angry tone with an Egyptian-style guitar riff that brings in heavy pounding drums and distorted guitars to send
out the message that "I am jaded, and I hate it when I can see your face!"  "Die for You" relaxes you with a dreamy guitar section
embellished with a hypnotic bass rhythm that turns heavy right before a rocking chorus that says "You brought me to life, and I would die
for you."  "Step Off" is about following your dreams regardless of what your parents and friends think.

Falcon's ethereal keyboard composition begins "Fear the Evil" just before it unleashes in a song about zombies and madness.
The driving force of this song is very much in your face complete with layers of distorted vocals from Jade to bring the listener
through a musical horror film.

"Dreaming" brings a relaxing, fantasy kind of experience with surreal keyboards, soft vocals, and distorted guitar work that remains
steady in the mix.  Then "My Love" pounds into your head just before breaking into a poem written by Falcon, supplemented by some
eerie vocal work by Jade in the background.  The two singers join on the chorus as they sing to each other.  Falcon takes over lead vocals
on "To Be With You" - a straight ahead fun rocking track.  "Angry" gets Stage Dive back to a heavy,
stomping force with dreamy vocals in the chorus.

"Faded Away" takes the album into the soft and beautiful side of the band with Jade putting tender emotions into the sound.
Finally, "Silent Tears" ends the album in an ominous, slow, heavy song that jumps into Jade's
most aggressive anger resulting in piercing screams, fits of rage and hostility reminiscent of bands of the likes of Otep.
