KERRY BEYER

Director Kerry Beyer Kerry Beyer is an award-winning visual artist. A semi-finalist in the Nicholl Fellowships in screenwriting and Winner of the Slamdance Anarchy Film Showcase. His films have screened at Dances With Films, The Cannes Film Festival, and have been distributed by Hypnotic & Film Four. An acclaimed fashion photographer, his work has appeared in Vogue, Lucky, Allure, The NY Times, Vintage Guitar, and more. Equally comfortable in front of the camera, he has guest starred in Walker Texas Ranger, Port Charles, the Arrest & Trial, and The Way She Moves to name a few. He narrated the award winning audio book for the Disney movie Holes, starring Shia LaBeouf.

He is a semi-finalist in the Nicholl Fellowships in Screenwriting, winner of the Slamdance Anarchy Film Showcase, and has been called the "New Norman Bates of horror" by Fangirltastic (Planet Fury), and "One of the modern greats of cult horror" by Cinesploitation.

As co-founder of the SplatterFest Film Festival, he's worked alongside Bruce Campbell and Anthony Michael Hall, to whom Beyer had the honor of presenting a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Spirit Camp
had its world premiere in Houston Dec. 21, 2009. Killing Mr. Right had its world premiere Oct. 4, 2014.
